Intake Schedule📅
Multiple shipments are planned, with the final intake scheduled for the end of August.
Training💪🏼🏆
We receive a lot of questions about the first week of intake at the loft. In the first 3 weeks pigeons remain under close observation to monitor the health of a batch of pigeons. Immediately after arrival we give the new groups access to the large aviary. We have experienced that this reduces stress and improves acclimatisation. We have an 80 cubic meter central aviary, and each of our 16 lofts includes its own 24 cubic meter aviary. After these 3 weeks we start the trap training. Twice a day the pigeons are moved into the large aviary and called inside via the trap system over the Benzing plates. After another week we start releasing the pigeons outside for lof training. We do this at 10AM at first. At this time it is already hot and therefore the pigeons remain close to the lofts. Only after a few weeks we start to release them earlier to encourage them to fly longer and explore the environment of the loft. Road training starts after the summer and as soon as the Dubai weather allows us to basket the pigeons. 👍🏼

Yearling pigeons (born in 2024 or earlier) have been moved to their new lofts (Lofts A-B-C-D-E and 1) and are training daily in preparation for racing once the summer ends.
