Race 1 (Official Training Flight 35 km) – Dubai One Loft Pigeon Race, Season 2 🏆🇦🇪
Today, November 25, we held our first official training flight of 35 km in preparation for the new season.

The pigeons were released at 8:00 AM, facing a headwind from the east. Two pigeons arrived solo soon followed by large groups that arrived together at a speed of approximately 1250 m/min.
The majority of pigeons returned before 11:00 AM, which is excellent given the headwind. It is typical for pigeons in the UAE to stop flying between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM and resume or complete their journey closer to sunset or the following day when temperatures are cooler.
Aligned with race regulations, the clock was stopped at sunset. During the season, the clock will be stopped the following day at 12:00 noon except for the Qualification Race and the Final Race. (For comparison, previous training flights were stopped three hours after release.)
Results: The race was won by Polish multiple champions Klusinski & Chmielewski 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵. Second place went to Pakistani 🇵🇰 fancier Hassy Loft, with a pigeon bred by Al Neyadi Loft of the Emirates. Notably, Al Neyadi Loft also bred the Neyadi Hen, one of the top-performing pigeons from last season. Third place was secured by OLR specialist Sherif Mousa and his Desert Raptors team 🇦🇪. Fourth place went to Nelson Loft of the UK 🇬🇧, while fifth place was secured by Saif Al Qubaisi of the UAE 🇦🇪.
The next official training flight is scheduled for November 28.
