Race 2 (Official Training Flight 70 km) – Dubai One Loft Pigeon Race, Season 2 🏆🇦🇪
Today, November 28, we held our second official training flight of 70km in preparation for the new season.

The pigeons were released at 7.22AM, with a wind from the side. One pigeon arrived solo but did not enter immediately and was beaten by a second group of around 20 pigeons. Soon followed by larger groups.
The majority of pigeons returned before 11:00 AM, which is excellent given the hot and humid weather. We get questions about the low return rate during the day time. This is typical for pigeons in the UAE to stop flying between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM and resume or complete their journey closer to sunset or the following day when temperatures are cooler. We always receive a lot of pigeons before sunset and the next day at sunrise.
Aligned with race regulations, the clock was stopped at sunset.
During the season, the clock will be stopped the following day at 12:00 noon except for the Qualification Race and the Final Race.
Results: The race was won by a beautiful blue bar with white flights bred Mc Aldous Loft 🇦🇪. A UAE loft with excellent results in the previous season. Second place went to Belgian 🇧🇪 top loft PIPA Breeding, not a coincidence seen the amazing results the Best Kittel family has achieved in the last decennium. 3rd place was for Belgian fancier Koen Druyts 🇧🇪bred from a top performer in season 1, Dubai 768 paired with a direct grandson of Belgian top pigeon “Pitbull”. 4rd position went to Polish multiple Champion 🇵🇱 Maziarz Racing team. Fifth place was secured by the English top loft Team Ratel, a UK loft 🇬🇧 build around the Best Kittel II family. One of the best breeders of the BK Family. And finally 6th place to Al Beyarq Loft from Kuwait 🇰🇼, breeder of Dubai Queen, 1st Ace and winner of the Arabian Gulf Race 🇦🇪.
