The challenging conditions, characterized by the cloudy weather and a headwind from the northeast, made for yet another challenging competition. The initial arrivals commenced at 8:45 AM, with a group of approximately 15 pigeons leading the way. Subsequently, larger groups of 30-40 pigeons followed soon with around 700 to 800 pigeons at the loft around noon.
The temperature at noon was approximately 30°C, and there was a noticeable decline in arrivals around noon. Despite the tough conditions, the race was successful.

The forthcoming Hotspot 2 is scheduled for next week on Monday, featuring a proposed 160 km race. Adjustments to the race distance may be considered based on the pigeons’ performance in Thursday’s race.

- Activation
Article 4.3. All pigeons that return within 102 hours from the time of release will qualify for the races and will be subject to paying the activation fee of USD 200. This activation is mandatory for all qualifying pigeons. Fanciers failing to pay for the activation of their pigeons are not eligible for any prize money and risk their pigeons to be disqualified.
Participants can activate their qualified pigeons by paying 200 USD for each qualified pigeon to the below bank account. Almost all fanciers have already activated their qualified pigeons. - Premium For-Sale Pigeons
Premium for-sale pigeons can be activated on our OLR auction site: arabianpigeonauction.com. A new list of Premium for-sale pigeons will be available from Monday, January 1, 2024 onwards.
- For-Sale Pigeons
For-sale pigeons can be activated by sending an email to forsale@dubaipigeonrace.com with the ring number. The cost for for-sale pigeons is currently 200 USD. The principle of first-come, first-served will be used as stipulated by the regulations.
- Credit
Credits received can be used to activate a team next season or to buy a for-sale pigeon under the following conditions:
5.1. Participants may enter a team with one or more pigeons, comprising one (1) active pigeon and up to three (3) reserve pigeons for each team (see entry & payment form). Participants can send fewer or no reserve pigeons as part of a team, but only those entering three reserve pigeons will be eligible to receive credit.
