Tom and Marnik Van Gaver, a father-son pigeon racing team from Belgium, have achieved great success through their exceptional breeding lines, Finn and Ricky. These bloodlines are the backbone of their loft.
Finn, one of the best breeders in the world, was also a good racer. He won the 1st Provincial Tulle in 2016 with a 17-minute lead and consistently placed high in other major races.
Finn’s offspring have inherited his winning characteristics, contributing significantly to Tom’s loft success. The so-called Finn Pair, Finn’s parents, have produced numerous talented youngsters, guaranteeing the continuation of this exceptional bloodline.
Ricky, another cornerstone of their breeding program, has proven his worth both in races and as a breeder. Ricky’s offspring, such as Little Ricky and Dark Ricky, have won several times. Little Ricky’s achievements include winning the 1st Nat. Zone Bourges of 4,227 yearlings and claiming top positions in other national races, such as a 5th Nat. Bourges I and an 8th Nat. Tulle.
