Jort Batenburg participates in season 1 of the Dubai OLR, also known as the World Championship Pigeon Sprint Racing. He was one of the top performers of the first season of the Dubai One Loft Pigeon Race. With several top results during the HotSpots, his pigeons proved to be of excellent quality. Jort just started participating in OLRs last year.
He coupled sixteen pairs of pigeons for the One Loft Races. These pairs are a mix of extreme long-distance pigeons from Batenburg-v.d. Merwe, the Porsche family from the Pipa Elite Center, and the Best Kittel family from PIPA Breeding.
Jort also acquired some notable pigeons, including the winning pigeon of the Final of the Doha OLR, which was the only pigeon to arrive on the day of liberation.
My best results in the first year were:
– 2nd place in the Final AS Golden Pigeon Winter Race.
– 16th place in the Extra Final Europa Masters Winter Race.
